I am an assistant at another dental office and I was referred over to Dr. Melton and his wonderful practice for a root canal. Our Endodontist was not available for another week and I was in so much pain. With a shot in the dark, my office called Dr.Melton and his team to see if they had any same day availability. Fortunately he did and got me in right away! Everyone at this practice was SUPER helpful and so sweet. Dr. Melton's assistant Cass was very thorough, informative and very loving when it came to my "hot" tooth. Dr. Melton and Cass took every precaution and care from the time of getting me numbed, which is HARD to do, to the end of the procedure. I had an AMAZING experience for getting my first root canal. Got me in quick. Friendly staff and Endodontist. I don't need a root canal. Unfortunately, I need to go to an oral surgeon to have the tooth removed and replaced with an implant. Dr. Melton took plenty of time to explain why a root canal can't save the cracked tooth, how steroid medicine will help the infection that he prescribed, and what to expect at the oral surgeon. I also got a referral to an oral surgeon.
